My name is Areeb, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I have several years of tutoring experience, working with students in math, science, MCAT preparation, application coaching, essay editing, and creative writing. I graduated with a degree in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University and am currently pursuing my MD at UT Southwestern Medical School (Class of 2025). My academic background has given me a strong foundation in STEM subjects, critical thinking, and test-taking strategies, which I enjoy sharing with my students.

Some of my academic achievements include a 4.5 GPA in high school at the Episcopal School of Dallas, a 34 ACT score, first place in the Thanks-Giving Square Foundation essay contest, a 3.8 GPA at Harvard, and a 518 on the MCAT.

I have worked with middle school, high school, and college students, tutoring in both one-on-one and small group settings. My tutoring journey began in high school, continued through college, and now extends to medical school, where I mentor first-year students. I also guide students through college and medical school applications, helping them refine essays, build strong resumes, and prepare for interviews.

I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, focusing on breaking down complex concepts, reinforcing material through problem-solving, and teaching effective study techniques. Whether preparing for a test, tackling a difficult subject, or working on applications, I help students build confidence and long-term skills.

Beyond academics, I strive to be a mentor and motivator, helping students develop strong study habits, time management skills, and a growth mindset. I understand the challenges of rigorous coursework and standardized testing, and I aim to make learning both effective and engaging.
