"Hi, I’m Tai! I graduated magna cum laude with an Associate’s Degree in Engineering, and I’m passionate about making learning both accessible and meaningful for every student I work with. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in math, and my experience as a tutor has allowed me to turn complex ideas into something students can actually connect with and understand. I believe that learning should feel empowering, not intimidating.

Math has always been one of my greatest passions—I love the logic, the problem-solving, and the satisfaction that comes from finally cracking a tough question. I bring that enthusiasm into every session because I believe that with the right support, any student can grow to feel confident in math, too.

I have experience teaching English as a second language, which has helped me develop the patience and creativity to meet students where they are. My approach is to build confidence first, then skill—using questions, real-life examples, and hands-on practice. I pay close attention to how each student learns best and adjust my strategies accordingly, whether they need step-by-step guidance, visual aids, or a more inquiry-based approach.
