"I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and have over 15 years of experience teaching guitar, electric bass, and music theory to students of all ages and skill levels. I began teaching private lessons in 2008 and have since worked in both one-on-one and group settings, in person and online. My teaching experience includes working with elementary through adult learners, and I currently serve as the Director of Vocal Music at a public high school, where I teach music full-time.

My instructional approach is student-centered and adaptive—I tailor each lesson to meet the individual goals, learning styles, and pace of my students. I focus on building strong technical fundamentals, encouraging creative expression, and developing musical literacy through ear training, theory, and performance-based learning. Whether a student wants to prepare for auditions, learn to play by ear, or understand the deeper structure of music, I create a personalized path to help them succeed.

In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve taught music in after-school programs, led performance ensembles, and helped students prepare for contests, honor ensembles, and recording opportunities.
