"I am currently pursuing a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley, with a strong academic background in Biology, Mathematics, and Physics. Before transferring, I studied at Pasadena City College, where I completed advanced coursework in calculus, physics, general & organic chemistry, and biology, maintaining a strong GPA and earning honors recognition. My academic journey has not only given me a solid foundation in STEM subjects but has also deepened my appreciation for the process of learning and discovery.

My tutoring experience began at Pasadena City College’s Math Success Center, where I worked as a peer tutor supporting students in a wide range of math courses. In this role, I developed student-centered approaches, tailoring my explanations to different learning styles and encouraging problem-solving rather than simply providing answers. I have worked one-on-one and in small group settings, guiding students across various levels of mathematics, from college algebra to differential equations, from foundational concepts to advanced problem sets.

What makes tutoring meaningful for me is the opportunity to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. I enjoy helping learners of different ages, particularly college students, discover connections across STEM subjects and build lasting skills they can apply beyond the classroom. My goal is always to support long-term success by fostering curiosity, resilience, and critical thinking in every student I work with." less...
