"Hi guys! My name is Erik and I am dedicated to helping your child read, write and speak with proficiency and confidence. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in English Literature and Language from Cal Poly Pomona. While in college, I also volunteered at the University Writing Center to help other students with their writing and comprehension skills. Since college, I have worked as an editor for a national publishing house and currently work in arts administration. I have also had a story published in a literary magazine, and am currently in the process of developing two plays.

I believe that any student can excel as long as they are given the tools that give them the confidence to pragmatically approach English and writing in a sensible manner. Language is about trust, and that trust is a two-way relationship between your own abilities and the rules of grammar, syntax and spelling.
