"I am a 3rd year MD student at Oregon Health & Science University. Prior to medical school, I was a high school AP biology and AP chemistry teacher for 7 years with extensive experience working with ESOL students. During this time my students excelled on the AP exams with over 80% passing. I have a Master of Education degree from Boston University. I specialize in tailoring instruction to meet each student’s individual needs. I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach, but rather that we all learn best when we are appropriately supported – and I am committed to providing that support.

After 7 years as a teacher, I decided it was time to move on to achieve a goal of mine which was to become a doctor. However, I am passionate about helping students achieve their goal. For this reason, I started tutoring 3 years ago, and have continued to tutor since then.
