"Hi, I’m Inaaz! I graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences. I was on the Dean List all four years, in recognition for exceptional academic achievement within the college. I took various biology, chemistry, and physics courses as pre-requisites for dental school and additional art and religions courses out of pure interest. I am currently a second-year dental student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

The classes I enjoyed were with the most engaging professors that genuinely cared about their student's success. These professors made themselves accessible and took the time to explain concepts one-on-one. They found creative ways to display the information, making the courses interactive and memorable. I believe by emulating the actions of my favorite professors, I can help students build the confidence to tackle difficult topics and feel more positive about difficult subjects. With each unique student, I have the chance to develop individualized teaching plans to support their academic success.

I have tutored K-12 students in the following subjects: science, english, and writing. I have two years experience as a teacher's assistant for general chemistry. I held class sessions focused on problem solving, group discussion, and class engagement. Since August, I have been a teacher’s assistant for first year dental school courses such as physiology systems and operative dentistry. This involves going to their class sessions to answer questions, give feedback, provide help whenever needed, and host review sessions for upcoming exams.
