"As an instructor in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at SBU I taught dental students and residents the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties.

It was a fulfilling experience and was as much a learning experience for me as well. My philosophy is to keep things positive and focused, that helps the student with getting motivated.

I don't believe there are non-learners, if you have initiated tutoring services, then you have taken the first step necessary to succeed. Having a positive attitude and the will to learn the material are very important characteristics of a self starter and a good student. I believe it's important to "Learn something new every day."

Active in dentistry for 37 years and achieving Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I excelled in these subjects receiving honors and high marks. I've found a way to make the learning experience fun and interactive. In doing so, students will become more involved with the process which enhances the learning experience.

Years of experience with teaching students and office staff has allowed me to perfect my own study skills and I will teach you to do the same. All it takes is a strong effort on your part to do the work and good grades and new knowledge will be your reward. The first step to success is making the connection.
