A little about me:

I graduated Summa Cum Laude and as part of Alpha Omega Alpha from UT San Antonio's highly-competitive 7-year BS/MD program. I am currently a Dermatology resident at a Top 10 Dermatology program.

I am passionate about mentoring and tutoring medical students, as I understand the rigors and demands of medical training. I have spent time interviewing and serving on admissions committees for medical school and residency; and I understand the intricacies and subtleties of what makes an applicant stand out in the best way. Having just recently undergone a rigorous residency application cycle, interviewing at almost 50 total preliminary and dermatology programs, I have a well-developed understanding of how to navigate the residency application process.

I have helped students obtain admissions at a variety of colleges and medical schools including top state and Ivy-league schools and more. I have also helped medical students of all backgrounds (of any specialty interest, MD or DO school, or IMG status) match into their dream residency programs. There is definitely a strategy and pathway that goes into the applications and admissions process for these high-level schools and programs, and guidance is critical to navigating the complexities and intricacies of these pathways.

Additionally, having spent most of my life in school, I have a thorough understanding of the different challenges and adaptations we each have to make with different courses, tests, and instructors. I have extensive experience working with students of all stages of education. I make sure to tailor my sessions for each student as I develop an understanding of what their study preferences and goals are.
