"Hello! I am a cardiology fellow with a strong passion for medical education and helping students excel on board exams such as the usmle, comlex, and nclex. My academic foundation began at the University of Scranton, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in biochemistry, graduating with a 3.8 GPA. I went on to earn my medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine. I have gained extensive teaching experience at every level, tutoring undergraduates in physiology, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry, as well as mentoring medical students and interns during residency. I have also taught and supported nursing students preparing for the NCLEX, with a focus on microbiology, pharmacology, and ethics. In my current role, I lead weekly American Board of Internal Medicine review sessions, presenting to attending physicians, residents, medical students, and nurses. My teaching style emphasizes application and retention, not rote memorization. I take the time to identify gaps in understanding and adapt my approach to each student’s needs. Before sessions, I ask for an overview of the material you’d like to cover so I can create a personalized schedule. We’ll move at your pace, and I’ll provide follow-up questions and optional practice assignments to reinforce what we’ve covered and guide future sessions. I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and focused on helping you build both confidence and mastery in complex scientific and clinical concepts." less...
