"I started my career as a developer right after high school. I interned at a software company while attending UNC and earned a BS in computer science in my 4 years there. I immediately went into the industry developing build tools and j2ee applications. After expanding to work on apps in golang, javascript, and Kotlin, I moved into a DevOps role helping build a platform & helping our developers adopt it.

As I've grown, I've increasingly taken roles where I help others. During the summer, I am the tech lead for my company's intership program where we develop features on a full stack project & build the appropriate CI/CD. I got my start mentoring in the FIRST Robotics program, where I've helped high school students learn programming and electronics basics for over a decade. I'm also active in the DevTogether Chicago chapter where we take a mentee's project and address a problem over a 2 hour session. I love to help others and expand access in technical fields." less...
