"Hi! I’m Julia, and I tutor Public Speaking, Music Technology, and Essay Writing.

I have a strong background in public speaking, presentation development, and communication, supported by years of academic and leadership experience. I’ve worked extensively in writing- and discussion-based courses and have served in teaching and leadership roles that required presenting complex ideas clearly and confidently. I help students develop effective speeches, organize arguments, refine delivery, and build confidence when speaking in academic, professional, or classroom settings—whether that’s for presentations, debates, or oral exams.

I’ve been working in the music industry for over 8 years, with experience publishing original songs and producing across a range of genres. I’m highly familiar with digital audio workstations including GarageBand, Logic Pro, FL Studio, and Ableton Live. I enjoy helping students learn both the creative and technical sides of music production, from building a track from scratch to editing, mixing, and cleaning vocals. I also run a lofi music YouTube channel, which has given me hands-on experience with composition, consistency, and releasing music for an online audience.

Alongside music, I have a strong background in essay writing and English composition. I took and passed both AP English Literature and AP English Language, and I’ve completed several college-level English and writing-intensive courses. I assist with standardized test essays, college essays, and college application essays, focusing on structure, clarity, argument development, and helping students find a confident, authentic voice in their writing.
