"I am passionate about helping students build confidence in history by connecting lessons to real stories and lived experiences. I believe that learning is most meaningful when students see how it relates to the world around them.

My background includes a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in American Ethnic Studies from Wake Forest University. As a digital archaeologist, I contributed to a community-driven project in Africatown, Alabama, where I used mapping tools and oral history to preserve the memory of historic cemeteries within that community. This experience deepened my belief in the power of knowledge-sharing and inspired me to help students discover their own voice through the study of history and culture.

I tutor students from middle school through college in American History, Anthropology, and Archaeology, with a special passion for Anthropology because of its ability to reveal the connections between people, place, and story. My tutoring style is exploratory and discussion-based. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and the freedom to make connections across time and topics. My teaching experience comes from teaching community members during archaeology projects and tutoring student athletes during my time at Wake Forest.
