"Hello! My name is Hamyail and I am a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in Microbiology and Cell Science with an intention to become a physician. Graduating high school with a 4.0 G.P.A, I have 3 years of experience tutoring in mathematics and biology. My experience entails weekly hourly afterschool sessions as well as SAT math prep. For me, teaching has always been about the reward of students’ successes and the light that shines in their eyes after grasping a difficult concept.

My teaching style consists of breaking down each concepts into its simplest parts and presenting relatable examples for students to help them improve their understanding. I enjoy thinking of creative and fun explanations, while also working entire problems out, to help my students feel confident in their own abilities. I specialize in a wide range of subjects within mathematics (SAT, elementary, middle, Algebra I/II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus) and biology (Anatomy, Physiology, Body Systems, Cell Biology, Evolution).
