"Hi, I'm Abby. I have my doctor of nursing practice and am particularly interested in helping other MSN and DNP level students succeed. I have successfully helped several students on Wyzant with their DNP project papers and MSN research/capstone papers by providing constructive feedback to improve your writing strength and style as well as understanding of the material.

Here is a bit of my nursing history- I graduated with my bachelor's of science in nursing. I worked in adult med/surg, pediatric respiratory intermediate care, and pediatric med/surg. I loved teaching my patients and establishing relationships with them, which is why I pursued my advanced degree. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree to become a board-certified family nurse practitioner. During this rigorous program, I achieved a 4.0 GPA; I attribute this to the studying practices that I hope to share with you to achieve your academic goals.

I really enjoy using my previous nursing experience to help others grow. I do have about two years of the previous tutoring for nursing students. While in undergrad, I tutored students in the year below me on an individual basis. These sessions occurred once weekly. I really enjoy helping students understand concepts as they apply to real life; sometimes I do better understanding real-world applications over what is written in a textbook. Our tutoring sessions can help you better grasp these concepts and how you can and will apply them in your nursing career. I enjoy teaching critical thinking and using active recall to elicit results.
