"I am a the Senior Institutional Research Analyst at my college, and I earned my PhD in higher education from the University of Georgia. For the past seven years, I have tutored various levels of statistics from high school to graduate courses. While my degree was in higher education, I primarily focused on quantitative research. In addition to tutoring, I have experience designing and presenting lesson plans in a classroom setting, particularly about computer programs such as Stata and Excel. I have always enjoyed teaching and tutoring. As such, I hope I will be able to help a few students in their endeavors over the summer and into the fall semesters.

My research focuses primarily on advanced inferential statistics and quasi-experimental techniques, while my work has me working with the basics of statistics, Excel, and Stata every day. I have several ongoing projects right now as well to keep me sharp and connected. During my years at UGA, I took over 50 hours of graduate courses centered around educational and quantitative research (not counting my research assistantship). I have been helping students to achieve their goals for years, whether it was to pass an AP exam in high school, finish the last required course for a master's degree, or double check analyses and tables for a dissertation. I have taught lessons in statistics to entire classes and to individual students. Using my knowledge and understanding of quantitative reasoning, SPSS, Stata, Excel, and various other statistical programs, I have been able to guide students through their research and courses.
