"Hi! I’m Dr. Bekah, and I have been teaching/tutoring small groups and individuals for over 20 years.

As a certified tutor in college, and current M.D. in the clinical research field, I have a passion for teaching! I actually ENJOY breaking down difficult concepts and explaining them in ways that other students could understand. This began in my Organic Chemistry class and took off from there. Throughout medical training, tackling vast amounts of material and absorbing the information sometimes felt taxing...so it was important to develop some new learning methods.

I enjoy teaching people new things, and I work with students to determine which learning styles suit their needs. My philosophy is TRULY that there are NO stupid questions. A student needs to feel that they can ask anything, and have it explained to them in a way that they can understand it. Only then can they move forward confidently! A relaxed student is one willing to work hard to learn the material. I have spent many years teaching organizational skills, time management, study techniques and test taking skills. This focus will have a tremendous impact on educational abilities and future endeavors.

I love to teach/tutor Chemistry (General, HON, IB), Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Physiology, Histology, Pathology, Nursing Foundations and Fundamentals, Dimensional Analysis and Dosage Calculations, MCAT Preparation and Test Taking Prep and Strategy, Clinical Research Design, etc.
