"My name is Lauren, I am a practicing Florida licensed doctor/surgeon and I am happy to offer my tutoring services to those in need of my assistance. Let me introduce myself and say I have spent a great deal of my life dedicated to the pursuit of achieving success in academics. It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but I graduated magna cum laude with a 4.0 GPA undergraduate with a degree in athletic training, and went on to medical school where I also graduated with a 4.0 and was named class valedictorian. After medical school, I completed a three-year surgical residency at one of the busiest Level one trauma hospitals on the east coast. I have experience in working for a private medical practice, and I am currently working toward my own independent practice here in Florida. I found that along with the love of learning I also possessed a love of teaching as well, and I became a professional tutor and teaching assistant during my years at medical school. It was a very rewarding experience to help my fellow classmates succeed so they could continue on to realize their dreams.

I specialize in tutoring science and medical subjects, these include chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology. I also make myself available to nursing/medical students that require tutoring in medical related courses. I am willing to travel to meet with you within a reasonable distance to conduct our sessions at your home or local library. The lessons will be focused and detailed and according to your needs. I have developed many studying strategies through the years as what I like to call a "professional studier".
