"Dear Students.

I would like to introduce myself and give you a background on my education and experience. I received my BS and MS in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University. I then moved to Houston TX, where I obtained my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine. Since obtaining my Ph.D. I have been employed at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC,(1995-2001) Wyeth Vaccine Rochester, NY (2001-2005) and my most recent job at Agave BioSystems (2005-2013) located in Ithaca NY. I recently relocated to Laguna Niguel CA where my family resides. I am currently the co-founder and scientist of a small start-up biotechnolgy company (PharmaOne)located in Irvine CA. I have extensive knowledge and experience in several areas including Molecular Biology Microbiology, Biochemistry and Genetics. I have a son who is attending UCI in Computer Science and a daughter attending Saddleback College majoring in Biology. Over the years I have helped both of them in the biological sciences and have gained valuable experience in communicating effectively with students.
