My name is Connie, and as sometimes is the case, my path in life hasn't been the most straightforward. After I graduated in 2016 from Duke University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, I did a gap year teaching 9th and 10th grade Algebra in the Bronx, NY through an Americorps program. I then graduated Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in NC in 2021 and planned to complete an internal medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship. However, during my intern year of residency, I decided that a career in medicine was not right for me. Since then, while navigating various life transitions, I've opened Etsy and Teachers Pay Teachers stores geared towards older adults. They both offer a variety of gratitude worksheets and vision board printables.

After moving to the Bay Area recently, I decided to go back to my love for tutoring. During high school and my gap year, I tutored students on Wyzant in middle school coursework, Algebra 1 and 2, chemistry, and SAT prep. Currently, I am looking forward to tutoring in Algebra I, Algebra II, SAT Math, and ACT Math. In addition, I would love to provide feedback on the content and grammar of school essays and college or medical school application essays.

Right now, my schedule is pretty flexible and I can meet most hours, most days of the week.
