"Hello! I’m Heather, a certified elementary teacher with over ten years of experience working with young learners in both the U.S. and abroad. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tulsa and began my career teaching Pre-K in Los Angeles. After that, I spent five years in Tokyo teaching children ages 2 through 8 across multiple subjects, including ESL, reading, phonics, grammar, spelling, and study skills. Since returning to Tulsa, I have continued teaching Pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade, helping students build strong foundational skills while fostering a love of learning.

I create lessons that are tailored to each child’s needs, combining hands-on activities with fun, creative strategies to make learning enjoyable and effective. I often use songs, music, and drawing in my lessons to help students remember concepts, stay engaged, and express themselves while learning.
