"Hi, I’m Omar — a college, high school, and AP tutor with over 10 years of experience helping students succeed in economics, psychology, math, science, and other analytical subjects.

I hold a B.S. in Physics (Biophysics emphasis) and an MBA in Life Sciences, and I currently work as a Product Manager in the bioprocessing field. Alongside tutoring, I also provide part-time small business consulting, which allows me to teach many subjects with both academic depth and real-world perspective.

My tutoring style adapts to the student and subject, but my core focus is always the same: building strong foundations and intuition. Rather than relying on memorization, I help students understand how concepts fit together — the “gears” behind the material — so they can approach new problems with confidence.

This approach has proven especially effective in microeconomics, macroeconomics, psychology, calculus, chemistry, and biology, where students often struggle not because of effort, but because the underlying framework hasn’t fully clicked yet. Once it does, progress accelerates quickly.
