"I hold a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Policy from Florida State University and a Master of Education (MEd) in Higher Education from William & Mary. Over the past twenty years, I have worked in selective admissions and enrollment management at institutions such as William & Mary, the University of Richmond, and Purdue. During that time, I personally reviewed tens of thousands of applications and made admission and scholarship decisions for highly competitive programs. As a former Admissions Director at William & Mary, I gained first-hand knowledge of what committees value in essays and applications, and I use that perspective to help students craft authentic and compelling narratives.

Beyond leadership roles, I have extensive experience working one-on-one with students applying to college, preparing transfer applications, and pursuing graduate programs. My coaching style is supportive and practical: I help students break the process into manageable steps, find their voice, and build confidence in their writing. I particularly enjoy working with first-generation and international applicants, guiding them to tell their stories in ways that resonate with admissions readers.
