"As a University at Buffalo instructor, my experience includes tutoring in writing & editing, English, ESL, and college & career preparation. My specialties are in English & writing composition; ESL instruction - speaking and writing; test preparation - SAT Writing, TOEFL & GED. In addition to teaching courses at the University at Buffalo, I am a personal writing coach and accomplished book and journal article editor.

My background is quite diverse. I have extensive experience editing dissertations, thesis manuscripts, research journal articles, books, and resumes/CV's. In addition to writing, I teach non-native speakers how to improve their English speaking skills. In this capacity, I provide instruction on pronunciation, word order and verb tense. I assist non-native speakers in mastering the American accent. My ESL experience is also quite extensive, and many of the clients I have assisted are accomplished professionals.

During my 20+ years of teaching, I have worked with students of all ages. I have assisted students in preparing for New York State exams, college entrance, and TOEFL.
