I enjoy tutoring students not only to help them to comprehend academic concepts but also master them. It brings me joy when a student suddenly has that "a-ha!" moment, and everything makes sense.

I am patient and easy to understand, which makes covering a lot of material during our lessons feasible. I like to empower students and create a positive teaching environment while tutoring. I can effectively interact with a diverse population of students at a variety of academic levels, by making use of my own fun and unique style of teaching. I have a high rate of success of getting students to grade level and above.

I am an Education Consultant and highly skilled Certified Teacher/Tutor. I have 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience in the field of Elementary through High School education. I am certified and specialize in English/Language Arts and Social Studies/Civics, but have experience in K-12 in Reading, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Writing, Social Studies, Science and Math. I mostly teach struggling students to help them with academic strategies and skills to succeed. I have access to educational resources for all grade levels and I like to individualize my lessons to each student.
