"Earning a B.A. in Community Recreation Administration, I worked with youth, adults and older Americans in two communities of Northern California and Nevada. I went on to earn a Master's in Elementary Education. With this, I did substitute teaching taught in all grade levels. As a substitute teacher, one is able to work in all subject areas. This gave me short experiences in kindergarten classes all the way to high school auto mechanics. I went on to teaching and managing in a day program for high functioning disabled adults. This was a tremendous experience! I currently work part-time and tutor in an ESL adult program, as well as teaching a nursery classes on Sundays.
