"Hi! I have been a fulltime teacher for 26 years. I work as an Educational specialist with students of all abilities. For example, I have developed successful teaching methods for students who just need a little boost, students with learning disabilities, ASD, intellectual disabilities, language deficits, ADHD, as well as students with physical and health impairments.

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Education with a major in Early Elementary and my Masters of Education in Special Education. I have a certification Teaching Certificate for Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development that allows me to teach students who have English as a Second Language (ESL). This educational background is very thorough, and means that I am well versed in Elementary core content, but moreover, I understand how to discover how students learn best and adapt my teaching strategies to meet their individual learning needs.

I am happy to tutor elementary students who need a boost in their reading and writing. I use a variety of approaches depending on the strengths and weaknesses of my learners to ensure that the skills that are taught during tutoring transfer to practice at home and at school.

My other passion is helping older students, including college and graduate level students, who need assistance in developing effective skills for researching topics and and writing research papers.
