"My journey with music began at the age of four, when I started classical piano training and began developing what would later be recognized as perfect pitch and photographic memory. These gifts allowed me to internalize and interpret music on a deep, instinctual level, which quickly translated into a broad range of real-world performance experiences — from recitals and school concerts to weddings, private parties, and larger public venues. After over a decade of rigorous classical study and yearly adjudicated performances, I earned my High School Diploma from the National Guild of Piano Players, completing a 12-year commitment to both technical mastery and expressive growth.
During my senior year of high school, I stepped into a teaching role through my school's afterschool band program. There, I guided students in music theory, live performance prep, digital production, and even some live sound management — combining education with hands-on mentorship. That spirit of service continued well into my college years, where I volunteered to teach music theory, keyboard skills, and production at my former high school. Simultaneously, I pursued my love of jazz piano through self-study and eventually joined “phendste,” an LA-based artist (and former college classmate) with over 13 million Spotify streams, as his keyboardist. I also spent a summer interning under a professional DJ, learning the behind-the-scenes logistics of event planning and audio presentation.
Altogether, I bring not only technical fluency and performance experience, but also years of leadership, mentorship, and a passion for passing on what I’ve learned — blending tradition with innovation in everything I do." less...
