"I am an educator with thirteen years of experience. I earned my B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish at Georgia Southern University (2008-2012). After graduating, I attended Clemson University, where I taught English composition and American Literature courses while earning my M.A. in English Literature. For eleven years, I taught English composition and literature at Greenville Technical College, and I am currently earning an MSW (Master of Social Work) degree from the University of South Carolina (2023-2026).

I have extensive knowledge of quality research practices, MLA and APA documentation, and effective writing skills across genres. I spent five years as a tutor in the college's writing center, working with students on a wide range of coursework. I am accustomed to teaching and tutoring both in person and online. In addition, I served as a college advisor for nine years, supporting dual-enrolled, traditional, and returning students through the process of choosing their courses, transferring schools, and applying to colleges and programs.
