"Hello, I'm Charles an Electrical Engineering PhD candidate. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2021. I worked in multiple high-tech industries before coming back to pursue an advanced degree.

I have worked as a teaching assistant for advanced electrical engineering courses and have volunteered as a tutor for underprivileged students in the Rochester area. I love to teach and take an approach focusing on conceptualization and understanding before tackling the numerical problems themselves. I have found through my work with other students that emphasis on concepts leads to better retention and understanding of the materials - and can even help students catch their own mistakes when working!

My volunteer work was one on one and my teaching assistant experience has been in both a classroom setting and small group setting. I am comfortable teaching math, physics, chemistry, and electrical engineering course work.
