"Hello. Thank you for reading my profile. I have been teaching English conversation and pronunciation to adults online for several years. I completed my master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2006 and have been active in teaching English as a Second Language since I was an undergraduate student. I have lived in Venezuela, China, Korea, and Saudi Arabia and know the challenges of living in a country where they speak a different language. I have taught at universities and institutions in the United States (University of Florida, University of Pennsylvania, and Portland State University), in Korea (Sogang University and Korea University), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (The Institute of Public Administration), and at middle schools and high schools in China (Shanghai Board of Education). My teaching experience runs from teaching beginners the foundations of the English language to helping near-native speakers prepare for presentations and business meetings.

As an online tutor, I specialize in conversation at the professional level and for informal settings and in accent reduction for those who wish to master American English. My one-on-one approach ensures that students get personalized lessons tailored to their individual learning style and needs.
