I graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences with a physics education concentration. I student taught at Ralston Valley High School where I taught Physics and Earth Science. Upon graduation I received a secondary science education teaching certificate and I am a certified AVID tutor. During my student teaching I realized that I preferred a one on one or one on two teaching scenario as opposed to the traditional classroom.

I have been tutoring Calculus 1/AB, Physics and Chemistry for 6 years now and I love it. I am also able to tutor other math and science classes both high school and college. I am enthusiastic about math and science and I cannot wait to be your math or science tutor. I am a visual learner so If I can see or visualize it I tend to learn better, so that is also how I teach! I do my best to explain things using visuals: pictures or graphs. I also like structure so I try my best to do step by step processes and I make sure the student understands before moving on.
