"Hi! My name is Gabija, and I am an experienced tutor of 4 years. I have experience in multiple subjects and multiple age groups. I used to work at CircEsteem in Chicago for 3 years working with underprivileged youth in two sets of groups - kids ages 8-14 (which I tutored in all subjects), and high school kids, helping with math, reading, science, essays, and prepping them for college. This was one of my most favorite jobs and one of the reasons I love tutoring.

I also have experience tutoring adults, as I worked in a literacy center for a semester, tutoring adults in ESL and grammar. In addition to that, I also spent a semester abroad in Italy and tutored Italian high school youth in ESL. I love teaching others, no matter the age!

Math is my favorite subject. In high school, I took all honors in math courses (algebra and geometry, my two favorite math subjects), and AP Calculus, in which I scored a 5 on the AP exam. I find math fun and love to teach others how to make it fun. Most importantly, I explain math in ways that you will be able to understand.

I tutored English as a second language here in the states and abroad. I will focus on grammar, correct conjugations, vocabulary, and everyday phrases for speaking, writing, and reading. Besides my experience, I am also an immigrant and had to learn English when I was younger, so I understand the struggles of learning it. I am ready to help you in a pace set for you in the best way possible for you to learn.
