"I am a retired high school math teacher, available for tutoring high school or college students. Prior to retiring, I taught Mathematics on a full-time basis for 28 years. The courses that I taught ranged from IB HL Math (Higher Level), Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, all Levels of Algebra and Financial Algebra. My tutoring experience is extensive. I have successfully tutored many students from 9th grade through college level. I am patient, reliable, and professional. My main goal is to build the students self confidence in their ability and allow them to do their best on assignments and assessment.

While I enjoy tutoring all subjects my specialty is tutoring IB Math including both levels (HL and SL) and both curriculums (AA and AI). I taught IB HL Math my last 10 years of teaching which included moderating the IA's.

Prior to education I worked for 17 years in the IT industry doing consulting, programming and network installations. This included 7 years having my own IT consulting company. My interest in my children’s education brought me to the classroom at age 38. The best move I ever made. The joy I have for working with young people and my gift of math and my interest in Analytics and Finance has made education a perfect fit.
