"I have over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and more than 15 years of teaching experience at community colleges and online universities. I’ve taught at law enforcement academies, served as a field training officer and administrator, and hold both a doctorate and a master’s degree in public administration. I also attended the FBI National Academy.

I’ve lectured in criminology, sociology, political science, public administration, U.S. history, and criminal law, with a specialization in adult learning. I’ve worked extensively with incarcerated individuals, helping them build academic skills, and I tutor students in government, policy, and law enforcement topics.
