"I hold a bachelor's degree in Global History from Michigan State University, with minor degrees in international development, European studies, and German. I also hold a double masters degree in International War Studies from the University college in Dublin, Ireland and from the University of Potsdam in

Germany. My certification is in social studies (secondary 6th grade to 12th grade), which encompasses political science, history, economics, geography, and most other humanities fields. I've given instruction in several middle schools and high schools, and I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience.

My approach to tutoring is mostly unique for every student and situation. Preparing for a test includes preparation for content, but it also may include preparation for the style of questions. Likewise, writing a paper requires research of content and sources, but it may also require research into how the instructor grades assignments or what procedures they have in place. Social studies includes many dates and times along with facts and figures. Although all of these are important, I also approach vocabulary and long-term patterns with equal importance.
