"I am Kiprop, a passionate educator and currently an Assistant Professor at Eastern Shore Community College in Virginia. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Idaho State University. My academic journey began in Kenya, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, followed by a Master’s in Applied Mathematics from Jomo Kenyatta University. Inspired by exceptional high school teachers, I developed a strong foundation in mathematics that motivated me to advance my expertise, ultimately earning a scholarship to pursue my Master’s in Mathematics at Idaho State University.

With over five years of experience teaching College Algebra, Calculus, and Linear Algebra, I am committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. I employ group discussions, hands-on problem-solving activities, and regular practice worksheets to help students develop a deep understanding of the material. I also prioritize accessibility, responding to emails promptly and offering Zoom meetings for additional support when needed.
