"I am a professional film and digital photographer and educator specializing in food and street photography. Born in Oklahoma and raised in Texas, my passion for visual storytelling began with my father’s photographs from Munich, Germany, and the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Josef Koudelka, and Irving Penn. Living in Paris on and off for seven years further shaped my artistic voice and approach to visual culture.

I have exhibited my work at numerous venues and have 14 years of teaching experience. I began my career at Collin College’s Continuing Education Department in Plano, Texas, and now teach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have also instructed special courses at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. My teaching focuses on visual literacy, narrative development, and helping students build confidence, technical skill, and a strong personal voice.
