"I am Mr. Kahura, a dedicated Wyzant tutor specialising in U.S. and World History. As a third-year History major at Westfield State University, I help students aged 12 and up move beyond memorising names and dates to understanding the deeper forces that shape our world.

In our sessions, we explore the social, economic, environmental, and political contexts behind pivotal events in U.S. and global history. I emphasise cause and effect, continuity and change, and connections between past and present so students can see how History influences modern society, current events, and their own lives. While I am new to formal tutoring, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and a fresh perspective.
