"I hold a Master of Science in Adolescence Education (Grades 7–12, English Language Arts) from Mercy University, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in TESOL from Moscow City Pedagogical University. I am certified in New York State to teach ELA in grades 7–12, with an additional certification in Students with Disabilities. In addition, I hold a CELTA and Cambridge CPE, which strengthen my qualifications to teach English to speakers of other languages and support learners at different proficiency levels.

My teaching experience spans more than ten years and includes working with multilingual learners and native speakers of all ages. In New York City, I have taught high school ELA and worked as an ESL teacher with Catholic Guardian Services, supporting refugee youth ages 7–17 with limited or interrupted schooling. I have also taught middle and high school students during student teaching placements, and at the university level in Moscow I worked as an assistant lecturer in the English Philology Department. In these roles, I developed and delivered lessons in ELA, ESL, Business English, and Academic English, while preparing students for standardized exams and Cambridge English assessments. I have taught in classroom settings, small groups, and one-on-one, always adjusting instruction to student needs.

In my approach, I use interactive, student-centered methods that build confidence and engagement. I integrate scaffolding strategies, visuals, and culturally responsive materials to help learners connect prior knowledge to new skills. For beginners, I use translation supports, bilingual materials, and educational technology to make tasks accessible. For advanced learners, I emphasize critical reading, writing, and analysis to prepare them for academic and professional success.
