"Hi! I’m Maggie, a certified English teacher and special educator with over a decade of classroom experience helping students build confidence, find their voice, and stay on track academically. I specialize in English Language Arts (grades 6–12), essay writing, and executive functioning coaching for students who need support with organization, time management, and focus.

In addition to working with local students, I’ve also supported international students preparing for the TOEFL exam and adjusting to American school culture. Whether it's mastering academic English or understanding the nuances of American classrooms, I help students feel more confident, comfortable, and ready to thrive.

Whether your child is preparing for the ELA Regents, struggling with writing assignments, or feeling overwhelmed by school in general, I bring a calm, structured, and compassionate approach. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners — including those with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences — and my sessions are always tailored to each student’s unique needs.
