"I love the process of leaning, and I have a wide range of educator experience, including 7 years at the elementary school level, 20 years of homeschooling my 4 children from kindergarten to high school graduation, 5 years of working with individual students as a certified educational therapist, and 8 years of teaching high school-credit French at an International Baccalaureate World School Middle School. I have also tutored elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults, in reading, math, test prep and English Language Learning. My teaching certification is current for Elementary and Middle Education PK-8, French K-12, and English as a Second Language K-12. I specifically love teaching elementary and middle school math (through Algebra 1), French, English grammar, and phonics.

Building a positive and trusting relationship with my students is a priority, and from there I develop engaging assistance based on the needs and wants expressed by students and parents/caregivers. It is key for students to use prior knowledge to make connections to new information. I love to help them build those bridges and recognize how exciting learning can be when they can celebrate the process as much as the product. Learning how to learn creates life-long learners.
