"My experience includes 20 years of classroom teaching and 10 years of individual tutoring experience. I have experience in tutoring learned disabled and other special needs students. My expertise is in reading and language arts. I have also tutored in math and study skills.

I hold a master's degree in elementary education with special education emphasis. The majority of my experience has been with elementary and middle school students. I use a variety of methods in my teaching. I am able to establish a good rapport with my students and use positive reinforcement techniques in my teaching. My students generally improve a grade level with 6 months of tutoring."
