My name is Kelsey, and I am a third grade teacher here in Asheville. I am passionate about teaching and have spent several years studying how people learn. My background is in psychology and education. In 2012, I received my master's degree in elementary education, focusing specifically on the common core standards. I can offer experience, content knowledge, energy, hands on activities, and resources to anyone who seeks out my services.

As a teacher, it is a goal of mine to make sure that students and parents alike feel confident solving academic problems. I understand that things are taught differently today than they were when most of us attended elementary school.
