"With over 20 years of experience in elementary education, I bring a strong foundation in both instructional expertise and student-centered support. I am certified in K–6 education and hold endorsements in both Reading and Gifted education. My career began in the 4th grade classroom, where I spent five years developing a love for helping students grow as readers and writers. I then served for a decade as a K–6 writing coach, where I supported both students and teachers in building strong writing instruction schoolwide. For the last five years, I’ve worked as an intervention teacher, providing small-group and one-on-one instruction in reading and math to help close learning gaps and accelerate progress.

My tutoring approach is focused, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs. I believe in building strong relationships and creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident taking academic risks. I use data-driven strategies, scaffolded support, and clear goals to guide instruction, whether I'm helping a student build fluency, master comprehension strategies, or gain confidence in math. My experience working with both struggling learners and gifted students allows me to differentiate instruction with precision and care.
