"Hi! My name is Shelby. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University and I retain a degree and certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am LETRS and dyslexia certified as well. I have a strong background in phonics instruction and 1:1 and small group tutoring. At the school I teach at, I led daily instruction in phonics tutoring. In addition to this, I boast some of the most improved reading scores in the district according to state and local testing.

I have a passion for reading and English that I love to share. My students thrive under my instruction, which scores can prove. I believe in a strong reading foundation which can help students improve across subject areas.
