"My passion is teaching! I am totally committed to providing students with the necessary skills, knowledge and discipline to ensure students’ success. Also, I love working with elementary children. I am currently on my eighth year as a Texas Certified Bilingual teacher. During these years I have taught all content areas, but my major focus has been in Reading and Language Arts, and Math.

I believe that learning is a never ending process. For such a reason I became a Mechanical Engineer, and a few years later, I obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Dallas. And, now I am preparing to embark on a PhD. Program. As part of my teaching habits, I constantly talk to my students about why they should work hard and never stop learning so that they can be ready for college, since this will expand their potential future opportunities.

But learning does not have to be boring. I always strive for making my lessons and activities the most relevant and engaging possible. By having my students make connections between what they are learning and their own personal lives, students can better appreciate the importance of learning.

Finally, it would be a real pleasure for me to tutor you or your child in English Reading Language Arts, Spanish Reading and Language Arts, and Math in both languages for any elementary grade level.
