"As a certified elementary teacher with a passion for helping students feel confident in math, I bring both experience and enthusiasm to every tutoring session. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and a license to teach all core subjects in grades K–5 in Ohio. I’ve taught for 16 years and have worked with a wide range of learners—from those needing enrichment to students requiring extra support and intervention.

In my classroom, I use a variety of instructional strategies, including visual models, hands-on learning, and technology tools, to meet the needs of diverse learners. I believe math should make sense, and I work to help students build strong foundations in number sense, place value, and problem-solving. My favorite teaching moment is when a student lights up and says, “Ohhh, now I get it!”

Beyond whole-class teaching, I’ve worked one-on-one with students during intervention blocks, in after-school programs, and in small-group tutoring. I know how to break concepts into manageable steps, connect math to real life, and build confidence over time. I’ve supported students with IEPs, English language learners, and others who simply need a little extra encouragement.

My tutoring style is patient, positive, and responsive to each student’s pace and learning style. I believe in celebrating small wins and building a growth mindset.
