I am Edie and I have been a Science teacher, tutor, and scientist for over 30 years. My expertise is with all K-12 science content areas. I have taught and have certifications in General Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry and Conceptual Physics. I love teaching with connections to everyday life, magic tricks and cooking themes. I make learning meaningful and fun. I can also tutor hobbies and am an enthusiastic American Mahjong, Canasta, Gardening and Butterfly Raising educator.

I earned a Bachelor degree and Master's degree in Science Education. My teaching career has included both private and public schools. I started with bricks and mortar schools then transitioned to online education 15 years ago. I have tutored online for the past 15 years. The subjects I have taught include Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Conceptual Physics, Zoology, Botany, and basic Environmental Science. I have taught at the college level for over five years. I have certifications in many U.S. states.

I consistently apply real-world learning to my lessons to make learning relevant, rigorous, and relational. I teach in a variety of ways to reach students' learning styles to achieve mastery in their learning.
