"I have grown up around kids my whole life. I am the oldest of four kids and my mom has a day-care in her home. I always thought I wanted to be a singer until I decided my junior year in high school I need to pick a more stable job. I took an internship my senior year of high school where I spent half the day at school and the other half as an intern in a Kindergarten class. I loved it and knew I wanted to teach for the rest of my life.

I went a private school in Indiana and graduated in 2015 with my degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. My student teaching was in a high ability first grade classroom and a K-3 special education classroom. My first year teaching I taught second grade teacher in Indiana. After getting married, my husband and I moved to Canton. I taught 3rd grade for 2 years at a private school in Canton and currently teach first grade at a private school in Tallmadge.
